Grace is a senior at James Madison University where she studies media arts and design with a concentration in journalism and a double minor in creative writing and women, gender, & sexuality studies. She is currently the creative coordinator for Bluestone Communications, JMU’s student-run PR firm. At Bluestone Communications she works with the JMU creative team as well as clients local to the Harrisonburg area.
Grace has written for Shout Out, JMU’s student run feminist blog and has also held multiple positions in her sorority, where their philanthropic mission is building strong girls. She volunteers with Girls on the Run to help encourage young girls to be confident and strong.
Grace has previously interned at The Virtual Cubicle, where she assisted with marketing and used her knowledge of graphic design and writing to help create client deliverables. She also writes for Her Campus on the collegiate and national level, covering topics in lifestyle, fashion, and advice for high school girls.
In her free time, Grace loves to take photographs, travel, work out, and spend time with her family and friends. She currently resides in the DC area in the summers but hopes to move to New York City post-grad. She is unsure of her post-graduate plans but is very interested in continuing in the nonprofit sector and making a difference in the world for the better!
